Watch this inspirational video to kick off our commitment to our connections with our own children, the children that we work with and each other.  

 January-2022:  

Kindergarteners, 2nd graders and Mrs. MacKenzie's 4th graders will begin working in the STEM Lab focusing on the Engineering Design Process:  

Our goals will be to understand that: 

1.  Engineers create technologies to solve problems.

2. Technology is anything that is made by humans and solves a problem.                    Technologies do NOT have to use batteries or electricity!

3.  Problems are opportunities that often lead to creative inventions

4.  Inventions aren't always successful at first.

5.  We can all engineer solutions to problems in creative ways.

6.  Perseverance is important and a good skill to practice.
